Musical Arts Concert – The Cat’s Pajamas

St. Peter’s Lutheran is proud to present the Cat’s Pajamas, a vintage-style jazz band, for the next concert of its 2016-2017 Musical Arts season. Start celebrating Mardi Gras early with this concert on Saturday, February 18, 2017, at 7pm at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church on the corner of Lititz Pike and Delp Road.

The Cat’s Pajamas will keep the evening lively with a variety of jazz music, from Louis Armstrong and Brian Setzer pieces to traditional and gospel fare.

The Cat's Pajamas

The Cat’s Pajamas is a six member jazz band devoted to performing the upbeat, early jazz sounds of the 1920’s, as well as more modern tunes “retro-fitted” with the style of yesteryear.  The group believes in having fun on stage, and with this style of music, they can’t help but to do that.

The next concert in the series will feature Youth Choirs of Abington Presbyterian Church on May 6, 2017, at 7pm. All concerts are free and open to the public.  A freewill offering is collected during intermission.  For further information, individuals may contact the church office during business hours at 569-9211.
