O Emmanuel (O God With Us)

“Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Look the young woman is with child and shall bear a son, and shall name him Emmanuel.” – Isaiah 7:14

O Come, O Emmanuel

O come, O come, Emmanuel,
and ransom captive Israel,
that mourns in lonely exile here
until the Son of God appear.

O Antiphon Prayer

O Emmanuel, our king and our lawgiver,
the hope of the nations and their Savior:
Come and save us, O Lord our God.

Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel shall come to you, O Israel.

I love helping the St. Peter’s community proclaim the gospel message through song. I believe the music we make at St. Peter’s shapes us as a community of faith and can open our eyes to how God works in our world today.
