Musical Arts Concert – Youth Choirs of Abington Presbyterian

St. Peter’s and St. Paul Lutheran Churches are excited to host the Abington Children’s Choirs for a weekend of music May 6 & 7. The vocal and bell youth choirs from Abington Presbyterian Church outside Philadelphia will perform at St. Peter’s in Neffsville on Saturday, May 6, at 7pm and at St. Paul in Lititz on Sunday, May 7, at 3pm. A reception will follow the Sunday afternoon concert at St. Paul Lititz.

The singers and ringers of the Chapel Choir and Festive Ringers from Abington, PA, will offer an uplifting spiritual concert to the public for free. Comprised of 7th to 12th graders who rehearse and provide musical leadership for the 10:00am service every Sunday in their home congregation, they come to Lancaster County sharing a message of faith and encouragement.  They are led by John Sall, Director of Music Ministries, Ethel Geist, organist, and Janet Tebbel, Director of Handbells.

The next concert in the series will feature Lancaster British Brass band on August 5, 2017, at 7pm. All concerts are free and open to the public.  A freewill offering is collected during intermission.  For further information, individuals may contact the church office during business hours at 569-9211 or visit www.stpeterslutheran.org/musical-arts.
